Amani H. possesses extensive experience in disability services and community development, currently serving as the Area Manager for both Ottawa and Kingston as well as Toronto, York, and Simcoe at Karis Disability Services since April 2007. Additionally, Amani serves as the Chair of the Federal Committee for Awards in Volunteering with the Government of Canada, promoting community engagement through Canada's Volunteer Awards. Amani has also worked as a consultant at Université de l'Ontario français, focusing on training modules for adult education and inclusivity programs, and as a Senior Researcher for the Ontario Ministry of Education, where Amani conducted consultations to enhance educational resources for students with special needs.
