David Taylor

David Taylor has extensive experience in journalism and communications, currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada and previously for the Minister of Infrastructure and Communities at the Government of Canada since January 2017. Taylor's prior roles include Foreign Editor at CTV News, where responsibilities encompassed managing foreign correspondents and overseeing national news production, and Senior Producer at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, including a position as Parliamentary Bureau Chief. Additional experience includes freelance journalism for numerous prestigious outlets and leadership roles in various news organizations, such as Managing Editor at Brockville Recorder and Times and Senior Editor at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Taylor holds a degree from the University of Toronto, obtained between 1982 and 1986.
