Fernanda Albano has extensive experience in international trade and education, currently serving as a Trade Commissioner (Education) at the Government of Canada since December 2005. In this role, Fernanda provides strategic advice to Canadian education sector stakeholders regarding business opportunities in São Paulo, aiming to enhance bilateral academic and commercial relations between Canada and Brazil. Prior to this position, Fernanda worked as an Immigrant Case Analyst and an Executive Assistant, where responsibilities included assessing immigrant applications and supporting the Immigration Program Manager. Earlier experience includes a role as a Trade Assistant at the U.S. Commercial Service, where assistance was provided to develop business relationships in telecommunications and transportation.
