Wendy Mengjie Wu currently serves as the Ontario Advisor to the Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities for the Government of Canada since October 2024. Prior to this role, Wendy held several positions within the House of Commons of Canada, including Senior Advisor and Outreach Advisor for the Liberal Research Bureau, where responsibilities included leading outreach efforts in East Asian, women, and Latin American communities, as well as advising Cabinet Ministers and Liberal Members of Parliament. Wendy's earlier experience includes roles as an Executive Assistant to the CEO at VirgoCX, an Executive Assistant at Canada's Walk of Fame, and several positions focused on outreach and communications within the Liberal Party and the House of Commons. Wendy's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Rhetoric and Composition from California State University-San Bernardino and a Master of Arts in English for Specific Purpose from Xi'an International Studies University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Hebei Normal University.
