Christopher Hopkins

Christopher Hopkins currently serves as an Executive Officer at the Department of Public Expenditure & Reform since June 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher held multiple positions at the Football Association of Ireland from April 2018 to June 2022, including Grassroots Executive, where responsibilities encompassed planning grassroots programs, supporting clubs, and managing funding applications. Additional roles at the Football Association of Ireland included Business Partnerships Assistant and a secondment as Project Administrator for the 'More Than a Club' program. Earlier experience includes serving as UCD Sport RFC Assistant Coordinator and Sales & Marketing Intern at McSport. Christopher holds a BSc (Hons) in Sports and Exercise Management from University College Dublin and a Certificate in Professional Irish from Coláiste na hÉireann/Gaelchultúr.
