Nina Larsson

Nina Larsson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in community development, innovation, and stakeholder engagement. Currently serving as the Director of Community, Culture & Innovation for the Government of Northwest Territories since February 2016, Nina has held various roles including Manager of Social Determinants, Innovation and Public Participation, and Senior Advisor positions focused on Early Childhood Development and Stakeholder Engagement. As a Founding Member of Dene Nahjo and a Founding Partner at Energy North, Nina demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainable development. Previous experience includes working as Executive Assistant to the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories and Program Manager at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. With an MBA from Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University and leadership training from Harvard Kennedy School, Nina possesses a solid educational background to support their professional endeavors.
