S Dale MacLennan, CPA, CA, possesses extensive experience in finance and administration across various government and municipal roles. Currently serving as Executive Lead of Finance & Treasury Board and Executive Director of Finance & Administration for the Government of Nova Scotia since November 2013, MacLennan has previously owned a management consulting firm focusing on critical issues management and financial planning from September 2008 to November 2013. Earlier roles include Director of Finance for Halifax Regional Municipality, where stabilization of the finance department was achieved during challenging circumstances, and CFO for the Department of Health in the Government of Nova Scotia. With a Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia and a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University, MacLennan brings a wealth of expertise to financial leadership and policy development.
