Marie-Claude Francoeur is an accomplished public servant with extensive experience in advancing Québec's international interests through strategic leadership and relationship building. Since February 2009, Marie-Claude has held multiple senior roles at the Ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie du Québec, including Sous-Ministre Adjointe aux Relations Amériques, promoting trade and public policies related to climate change and transportation. Prior experience includes serving as Chief of Staff in the Departments of Transportation and Labour, where Marie-Claude provided critical policy and communication guidance. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Public Administration and International Relations from Syracuse University, alongside an executive certificate in Counter-Terrorism Studies from the Lauder School.
