Ishmael Sandy

Ishmael Sandy is an experienced economist currently serving in the Ministry of Finance for the Government of Sierra Leone since April 2020, focusing on macroeconomic studies, fiscal policies, and regional economic integration in West Africa. Prior to this role, Ishmael was a Relationship Officer at UBA Group from September 2019 to April 2020, where responsibilities included enhancing bank profitability and customer relationship management. Ishmael also has teaching experience as a Senior School Teacher and Head of the Economics Department at Royal International Academy, covering subjects such as Mathematics and Business Management. Ishmael holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Sierra Leone, Fourah Bay College.
