Prateek Jain

Prateek Jain has accumulated extensive experience in various roles within government service, beginning with the Government of Telangana in February 2020 as the Collector and District Magistrate of Vikarabad District. Prior positions include Project Officer at the Integrated Tribal Development Agency in Bhadrachalam and Additional Collector for Rangareddy District. Prateek also served as Assistant Secretary in the Jal Shakti Ministry under the Government of India for a brief period in mid-2019 and as Assistant Collector (UT) with the Government of Telangana from May 2018 to July 2019. Earlier experience includes an officer trainee position at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration and a field engineer role at Schlumberger. Prateek holds a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
