Raunak Agarwal

Raunak Agarwal is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Sub Divisional Magistrate in Ranaghat and as an Officer on Special Duty in the Department of Finance for the Government of West Bengal since November 2022. Prior experience includes roles such as Assistant Secretary in the Ministry of Mines for the Government of India and Assistant Magistrate & Assistant Collector in Bankura. Raunak's career began as an Article Assistant at S.K. Singrodia & Co. with a focus on corporate finance, audit, tax, accounting, and costing. Academically, Raunak is a Gold Medalist in Bachelor of Commerce from St. Xavier's College, a Chartered Accountant from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and has passed all three levels of the CFA Program from the CFA Institute, USA, demonstrating a strong foundation in finance and commerce. Additionally, Raunak has completed IAS training through UPSC.
