Russell Thomasson

Russell Thomasson has a diverse work experience in various roles. Russell started their career as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Air Force from 1994 to 1999. After that, they worked as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Bob Smith in New Hampshire from May 2000 to November 2002. Russell then joined ANSER Inc as a Legislative Analyst from November 2002 to March 2003. Russell then transitioned to working for Senator John Cornyn of Texas, serving as a Legislative Assistant from March 2003 to March 2007, and later as the Legislative Director from March 2007 to January 2013. Russell then became the Chief of Staff for Senator John Cornyn, Assistant Senate Majority Leader from January 2013 to August 2015. Currently, they are working as the Executive Vice President at Cassidy & Associates since August 2015.

Russell Thomasson has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Russian Area Studies from Indiana University Bloomington. Russell obtained this degree in 2003. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University in 1993.
