Blaine Hedges has extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Blaine started as a Battalion Operations Officer in the US Army in 2006 and gradually climbed the ranks to become a Battalion Executive Officer, Brigade Operations Officer, CBRN Battalion Commander, and Joint Staff, CBRNE Division Chief. Blaine successfully saved $572M from the homeland defense CBRN enterprise budget and led the Joint Staff crisis management team during Hurricane Sandy. Blaine later attended the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, where they earned a Master's of Science degree in National Resource Strategy. Blaine then became the Brigade Commander (Regional Vice President/Director) at 7th Brigade, United States Army Cadet Command, where they led an organization focused on recruiting, training, and educating 39,000 personnel. Blaine'snext role was as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Commission on Military Affairs; Kentucky Commissioner MIC3, where they developed the plan and led initiatives that resulted in 17 pieces of military-friendly legislation getting passed. Blaine later worked as Director, Sales Performance Executive at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where they drove strategy, business goals, and managing financials. Currently, they are the Founder, President, and CEO of Government Solutions and Services, responsible for every aspect of the business, ensuring the business's success and growth. In this capacity, they generated just under 4mm in gross revenues in 2023.

Blaine Hedges holds a Master's degree in National Resource Strategy from the Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy, which was earned in 2014. Blaine earned another Master's degree in Environmental Management from Webster University in the years 2002-2004. In 1993, Blaine Hedges earned their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Education from the University of Louisville.
