Richard Riggott has worked in the software engineering and technical support fields since 2010. Richard began their career as a Field Technician at Control Module Industries, where they worked on installation, deployment, and configuration of custom embedded systems. Richard then moved on to Technical Support Engineer and Software Engineer roles at the same company. In 2017, Richard joined Hitachi Kokusai Electric Comark LLC as a Senior Software/Firmware Engineer, where they lead the initiative to overhaul the software architecture and design for the next generation Parallax transmitter distributed control system and control application. In 2015, Richard started their own company, RootLogic LLC, where they worked with various clients including St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury, CT on a range of projects. Richard designed and developed a system for remotely monitoring and logging temperature and other data. Richard is currently employed as a Software/Firmware Engineer at Governors America Corp.

Richard Riggott attended the University of Connecticut from 2008 to 2013, where they studied Computer Science.
