Tonio Desorrento

Tonio DeSorrento serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GovPort since December 2022, overseeing a subcontractor management portal used by primes for record maintenance. Additionally, Tonio holds a position as a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia since February 2022 and was previously a Partner (Entrepreneur in Residence) at On Deck from January to May 2022. Tonio led Vemo Education as Chief Executive Officer from 2015 to 2021 and contributed as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center from 2014 to 2019. Legal expertise was gained at SoFi as Deputy General Counsel (2013-2015) and as an Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (2008-2012). Military service includes a role as Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1999 to 2005. Educational background includes a B.S. from the United States Naval Academy and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, with an exchange program at the United States Military Academy at West Point.
