Louis Bergeron has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Louis started their career in the US Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer from 2000 to 2007. Louis then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Lead Associate, where they specialized in national security strategy and communications. During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, they also played a key role in business development and created new revenue streams. Louis later worked as a Strategy, Plans, and Policy Advisor at the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 2017 to 2020. Louis then joined Govini as the Senior Vice President for Federal Strategy & Growth in 2020. Apart from their civilian work, Louis served in the US Navy Reserve, where they held the rank of Commander. Louis undertook various strategic planning and country desk officer roles, including deployment to Djibouti, Africa, as part of the Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa. Louis also contributed to the Africa Partnership Station Program country support team. Additionally, they were a Term Member at the Council on Foreign Relations from 2014 to 2019.
Louis Bergeron has a B.A. in History from Centre College, which they obtained between 1996 and 2000. Louis also holds an M.S. in Global Leadership - School of Business Administration from the University of San Diego, earned from 2006 to 2007. Additionally, they have completed an M.A. in Security Studies from Georgetown University, which they pursued from 2009 to 2011. Before their higher education, they attended West High School in Knoxville, Tennessee from 1993 to 1996, where they focused on History and Cross Country.
