In 2015, they became the Chief Financial Officer of PureCars, a private equity backed technology company. Stewart held this position for three years before moving on to Gather in 2018. Stewart then became the CFO of GovSpend in 2020.

Day has a proven track record in finance and operations. Stewart has a strong understanding of both private and public companies, and has experience working with different types of businesses. Stewart is a strategic thinker who is able to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to problems.

Stewart Day has a Master's in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Accounting from Georgetown College. Stewart is also certified as a public accountant from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
