Kacy Fortner

Kacy Fortner is the Platform Lead at Gowalla. Kacy previously worked as an engineering manager at Google from February 2021 to March 2021. Prior to that, they were the Manager of Cloud Infrastructure at Fitbit from September 2017 to March 2021, and a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Instacart from May 2017 to August 2017. Kacy has also worked as a Lead Real Time Bidding Engineer at Marin Software from June 2014 to May 2017, and as a DevOps Engineer at Perfect Audience from January 2014 to May 2017. Her previous experience also includes working as a software engineer at Virb Inc from April 2013 to November 2013, and as a software engineer at Media Temple from April 2013 to November 2013.

Kacy Fortner pursued a computer science degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduation, they worked in the computer science field for several years.
