Irina Preda

Irina Preda has extensive work experience in various roles related to AI, data science, and software engineering. Irina currently serves as the AI & Data Science Lead at Dataify Ltd since 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Gower Street Analytics from 2019 onwards. In 2021, they also held the position of Data Science Lead at DataKind UK until 2022. From 2017 to 2022, Irina was the Scotland Co-Founder & Lead Organiser at CodeYourFuture, a role they held for several years. Irina has also worked as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2018. In addition, Irina has experience as a Tech Lead at Open Development and Education Ltd. from July 2020 to January 2021, and as an AI & Software Engineer at Good-Loop from 2018 to 2019. Irina started their career as a Software Developer at 360° Strategy from 2014 to 2016.

Irina Preda completed their Master of Science (MSci) degree in Computer Science at the University of Glasgow from 2011 to 2016. Following this, they pursued further education at The University of Edinburgh from 2016 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Artificial Intelligence.
