Daniel Fisher

Daniel Fisher has a long and varied work experience. Daniel began their career in 1990 working as a Systems Engineer (Naval Telecommunications) for the UK Ministry of Defence. In 1999 they joined Zarlink Semiconductor as a Digital Design Engineer, and then in 2005 they became Director of Totally Wired. In 2006 they moved to Moortec Semiconductor Limited as a Principal ASIC Design Engineer, and in 2019 they joined Gowin Semiconductor Corp as a Senior FAE Manager EMEA and then a Senor FAE EMEA. Throughout their career, they have been responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining naval shore communications systems and equipment, as well as specifying, architecting, implementing, verifying, SOC integration including third party IP, design for test methodology, physical implementation (P&R) at 16nm and 7nm, managing signoff reviews, generating customer deliverables, customer technical support, high speed hardware design, Silicon evaluation and Silicon characterization.

Daniel Fisher attended the University of Plymouth from 1995 to 1999, where they received a 1st Class B.Eng (Hons) in Electrical, Electronic & Communications Engineering. Daniel also attended Plymouth College of Further Education from 1990 to 1994, where they received an HNC & ONC in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
