Brent Kerr

Brent Kerr has been a prominent figure in the legal field since joining Gowling WLG in July 2007, where Brent serves as Vancouver Managing Partner and Partner. With extensive experience in advising on the tax aspects of significant transactions, Brent has played a crucial role in high-value deals, including a $1 billion acquisition by a major Canadian mining company and a $192 million takeover bid by a Chinese state-owned enterprise. Prior to his current role, Brent was a Partner at McCarthy Tetrault from September 1979 to April 2007. Brent holds an LL.B. in Law from the University of Saskatchewan and a B.Sc. (High Hon) from the same institution.
