Tom Elrod

Tom Elrod has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. In 1999, they began their career as a Senior Consultant at US Web/CKS. Tom then moved to Cysive as a Senior Consultant in 2000. That same year, they also began working at Online Insight as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2001, they joined Silverpop Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2002, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Vocalocity. In 2004, they were a Principal Software Engineer at JBoss, a division of Red Hat. In 2007, they were CTO and Co-Founder of LoopFuse, Inc., an enterprise-grade marketing and sales automation suite. From 2012 to 2013, they were Principal Architect and Managing Director for Java/OSS at eHire Labs. From 2013 to 2018, they were CTO / Principal Architect at Make & Build, specializing in bringing experience, craftsmanship and ideas to seemingly complex scenarios for a variety of clients. Since 2018, they have been VP of Engineering at Gozio, a company that is redefining the meaning of patient experience in health systems across the U.S.

Tom Elrod obtained a B.B.A in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University between 1992 and 1997. Tom also holds a Java 2 Certified Programmer certification.
