Shivanand Pai

Shivanand Pai is an experienced maritime professional with a robust background in technical management and engineering within the shipping industry. Currently serving as Technical Superintendent at GP Global Group since February 2016, Shivanand manages a fleet of oil tankers and bitumen carriers. Prior roles include Superintendent Engineer at RED SEA MARINE MANAGEMENT, where responsibilities encompassed oil and chemical tanker oversight, and Construction Manager at Star Drilling, successfully completing a jack-up oil rig project in Singapore. Experience also includes roles such as Fleet Superintendent at AET Ship Management, Technical Superintendent at Bernhard Schulte Ship Management, and Marine Engineer Officer aboard various vessels, ascending to Chief Engineer during a career that began in 1989. Shivanand holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Marine Engineering from the Marine Engineering and Research Institute, Kolkata.
