Allan Gate Hock is an experienced procurement and private label professional with a strong background in consumer loyalty and product differentiation. Currently serving as the Private Label and Global Procurement Director at GPA since August 2022, Allan leads strategies to enhance exclusive brands and foster supplier partnerships. Previously, roles included the Private Label & Importation Director and Private Label Director at Grupo Carrefour Brasil, where Allan spearheaded significant growth in private label sales, contributing to an increase from 9% to 20% of total food sales within three years. With a foundation in sales management across several leading companies including DIA Brasil, Makro Brasil, Rich Products Corporation, and Mondelēz International, Allan demonstrated expertise in team leadership and strategic planning. Allan holds multiple MBA degrees in management and business administration and began a career in quality assurance auditing at Citibank.
