Julie Gibson

Julie Gibson serves as the Chief Operating Officer at GPS IMPACT since January 2020, following a role as Director of Workforce Development at ACT. Previously, Julie led the Family Support Division at the Missouri Department of Social Services, overseeing a large agency and multiple programs. In 2013, Julie was appointed Acting Department Director at the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to initiate a significant technology project. As Division Director at the Missouri Department of Economic Development, Julie developed workforce strategies and managed over 500 staff. Earlier experience includes consulting work at MJG Consulting and roles at AARP focused on community outreach and senior issues. Julie held several key positions in various gubernatorial offices, holding titles such as Chief of Staff and Deputy Director. education includes a Bachelor's Degree from the University of South Alabama and postgraduate studies at The New School for Social Research.
