Demi Yu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the technology and transportation sectors. Currently serving as the Head of Content & Discovery at Grab since June 2018, Demi has oversight of creating content-driven discovery experiences for customers and partners. Previously held roles at Grab include Head of Marketplace Management, Demand Growth, Advertising & Mobility Strategy, and Head of Deliveries Indonesia, among others, demonstrating a strong capability in marketplace management, advertising strategy, and food delivery operations. Prior to joining Grab, Demi was the General Manager in Thailand and Head of Expansion for Uber Eats, responsible for managing food delivery in Thailand and leading expansion efforts throughout Southeast Asia. Early career experiences include roles at Credit Suisse in strategy, Deutsche Bank in investment banking, and Morgan Stanley in sales and trading. Demi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering from City University of Hong Kong.
