Jia Chen

Jia Chen is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in AI technology development, particularly in fraud detection, user safety, and financial risk prevention. Currently serving as the Head of Data Science for Integrity and Core Experience at Grab, Jia oversees initiatives related to user experience platforms and corporate AI strategies. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer at an AI startup focused on financial institutions, Senior Researcher and Senior Manager at Lenovo where an AI team was built, and positions at Huawei, Baidu, Visdom Intelligent Technology, and as a research intern at prominent companies such as Microsoft and Adobe. Jia holds a PhD in Computer Science from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, alongside earlier studies in Pattern Recognition and Automation at Tsinghua University.
