Karan Kamath

Karan Kamath is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and team management, particularly in high-traffic environments. Karan has served in various roles at Grab, progressing from Software Engineer to Head of Engineering, overseeing multiple cross-functional teams across Southeast Asia. Notable contributions include the development of critical services, introducing innovative technologies such as TimeSeriesDB, and managing high-impact incidents. Prior to Grab, Karan gained experience as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the National University of Singapore, and held internships at Amazon Web Services and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Karan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore and participated in a student exchange program at The University of Texas at Austin.
