Sandeep Hebbare

Sandeep Hebbare is a seasoned Engineering Leader with extensive experience in the fintech sector, currently serving as Senior Engineering Manager at Grab since January 2018. Sandeep specializes in developing innovative, scalable products in payment domains, including Wallets, Payment Service Providers, and Merchant Payments, leveraging technologies such as Go, Java, Kubernetes, Kafka, and MySQL. Prior to Grab, Sandeep held the position of Head of Engineering at iKaaz Software Private Ltd, where responsibilities included building and managing software development teams. Previous roles include Technical Lead at Obopay Mobile Technology, focusing on backend code development in Java/J2EE, and positions as Senior Developer and Senior Software Engineer in earlier companies. Sandeep holds a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kuvempu Vishwavidyanilaya.
