Yuchen Yang

Yuchen Yang is a Senior Data Scientist currently at Grab since March 2025, with previous experience at Monee and Shopee in similar roles from October 2022 to March 2025, where expertise included leading risk modeling for credit products and developing scalable machine learning solutions. Prior to these positions, Yuchen held the role of Data Scientist at SAP, contributing to the development of a BERT-base NLP model for financial news event extraction, and worked at SLB as a New Product Development Engineer. Yuchen's academic background includes a Master of Science in Business Analytics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering from the same institution, complemented by a student exchange program at the University of Stuttgart.
