Cuong Tran

Cuong Tran has extensive experience in hardware engineering and project management. Cuong is currently working as the Senior Director of Hardware Engineering at Grabango since May 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Hardware Engineering at Getaround from June 2015 to February 2020. Cuong also worked as an EE Consultant at Varian Medical Systems from June 2013 to June 2015 and as the R&D Director at Curative Medical Inc. from February 2011 to June 2013. Cuong Tran has held various roles in companies such as Breathe Technologies, Tyco Healthcare, Boston Scientific, Optimize Inc/Stryker Medical, BRECIS Communications, and Nortel.

Cuong Tran has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) with a focus on Communications & Signal Processing from The Johns Hopkins University. Cuong also holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a specialization in Communications & Signal Processing from the University of Maryland.
