Emily Nelson

Emily Nelson, M.S.Ed, currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics at Grace Church School, a position held since July 2024. Previous experience includes roles such as Middle School Coordinator at The Hewitt School, IEP Coordinator at Zeta Charter Schools, and Science Teacher at both Chicago Jesuit Academy and KIPP Philadelphia Schools. Additionally, Emily was a Corps Member with Teach For America in Greater Philadelphia, where responsibilities included two years of teaching in under-resourced schools. Emily's professional history also features positions such as College Counselor at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Lifelong Learning School, Office Assistant at Marquette University, and Site Director and Camp Counselor at Fairfield Parks and Recreation. Emily holds a Master of Education in Urban Education and Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
