Jim Best

Jim Best is a Board Member at Grace Church School. Jim was previously with MUFG from July 2021 to August 2021 as a Student Development Assistant. There, they learned about financial sanctions, global sanctions programs, and the role of financial institutions in complying with sanctions regulations. Jim also analyzed new and emerging sanctions actions and summarized information in written memos. Additionally, they assisted with research on sanctions designations and list management, attended industry webinars and trainings (virtual), assisted with data-entry (Excel) and compilation for internal metrics (PowerPoint), met members of the team to enhance the intern’s network and found common ground with their work colleagues, and learned about the skills it takes to become a member of the firm and department.

Jim Best's educational career includes a high school diploma from Grace Church School and a field in political science and government from Barnard College.
