Melinda Russell, SHRM-SCP, has a diverse background in human resources. Melinda is currently the Director of Human Resources at Grace Village Retirement Community, where they started in September 2021. Prior to this, Melinda worked as an Employee Relations Specialist at Great Lakes Forest Products, Inc from March 2019 to October 2021. Melinda also gained experience at Conn-Selmer, Inc. as a Human Resources professional from August 2015 to March 2019.
Melinda Russell, SHRM-SCP, holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Central Michigan University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1995. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Lake Superior State University from 1988 to 1992. In addition to their education, Melinda has obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in July 2021.

Grace Village Retirement Community
Grace Village, in the charming town of Winona Lake, is the only not-for-profit continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Kosciusko County. Incorporated in 1974, Grace Village is dedicated to preserving the richness of life for seniors in a comfortable and secure Christian setting. Grace Village is affiliated with the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches and seeks to do all in the spirit of Jesus Christ. Seniors of all faiths are welcomed at Grace Village. About 350 people from all walks of life call Grace Village home. We have 58 condo style homes called “Robin Hood Homes”, 117 Independent Living Apartments that include studios, efficiencies and 1 to 2 bedroom apartments and our Licensed Assisted Living has 52 studios and suites. Our Health Care offers both intermediate and skilled nursing care and we also have a beautiful Rehabilitation Center with 12 private suites. Grace Village is situated on a beautiful 43 acre campus. The mission of Grace Village Retirement Community is to enable older adults to live to their fullest potential in the security of a Christian community.
