Rory Burchenson has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to 2024. Rory began their career at Digicel, where they held roles as a Business Process Executive, Business Process Improvement Analyst, and Training Specialist. Rory then joined Red Stripe (Diageo) as an Innovation Manager, where they led strategy development and project management for beverage innovations. After that, they worked at The HEINEKEN Company as an Innovation and Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for leading the digital and mobile agenda for Heineken Jamaica. Following this, they joined GraceKennedy Money Services as the Head of Digital Transformation, where they implemented initiatives to transform the business. Currently, Rory serves as the Chief Data and Privacy Officer at GraceKennedy Financial Group, leading the data and privacy strategy for the financial group and driving business growth through data-driven approaches. Overall, Rory has extensive experience in process improvement, innovation, digital marketing, and data strategy.
Rory Burchenson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of the West Indies in 2005. In 2011, Rory attended PMI but did not obtain a degree. Currently, Rory is pursuing a Master's degree in Big Data and Business Intelligence from ENEB - Escuela de Negocios Europea de Barcelona, which is expected to be completed by 2023. Rory also holds certifications including Certification in Agile Leadership from the Scrum Alliance obtained in December 2020, and a Mobile Marketing Master Certification from Market Motive obtained in 2015. Rory has also completed various online courses and certifications in areas such as strategic innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.
