Jeffrey Hoberman is the current director at Graded - The American School of São Paulo. Jeffrey has also served as the founder, chief executive officer, and chairman of Intrum, a start-up company focused on modernizing the management of corporate receivables. Intrum was later sold to a century old, dominant player in the industry in Europe. Prior to Intrum, Hoberman was a venture partner with Pine River Capital Management where they helped acquire and restructuring a consignado credit platform with strong digital roots. Jeffrey has also served as the executive chairman of Grupo Recovery and as the CEO of BHN Seguros Life Property and Credit.
Jeffrey Hoberman attended Harvard Law School, where they earned their JD. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science at Yale University. Jeffrey has also completed an executive course at Singularity University. While at Yale, they completed an exchange semester in Development Economics and International Development at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Jeffrey is currently a Professor of International Commercial Law at the University of Buenos Aires.
