Elyssa Anneser is an experienced Environmental Scientist at Gradient, having joined in September 2021. Prior to this role, Elyssa served as a Student Project Consultant at the New England Interstate Water Pollution Control (NEIWPCC), where responsibilities included evaluating COVID-19 wastewater surveillance programs and preparing best practice toolkits. As a Research Assistant at Leveraging Environmental Epidemiology for Equity, Elyssa contributed to studies on environmental equity and climate anxiety. Additionally, Elyssa held the position of Eco-Rep Coordinator at Tufts Office of Sustainability, managing sustainability education initiatives and a team of twenty-eight. A Climate Policy Fellow for Boston City Councilor Michelle Wu, Elyssa developed a comprehensive climate policy plan for the Councilor's campaign. Early experience as a Communications Intern at the Center for Health, Environment & Justice involved creating a strategic communications plan and managing social media. Elyssa holds a Master's in Public Health from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Environmental Science from Tufts University.
