Joseph Vele

Joseph Vele has extensive work experience in the field of data analytics and risk consulting. Joseph is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Gradient AI since May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Schneider Electric from November 2021 to April 2022 and Data Scientist from August 2019 to October 2021. Joseph also worked as an Intermediate Data Analytics Instructor at Level at Northeastern University for a brief period in 2019.

Earlier in their career, Joseph served as a Senior Financial Risk Consultant at Management Solutions from May 2015 to October 2018, where they implemented control models, analyzed and improved data quality metrics, and automated regulatory consistency checks. Joseph also worked as a Commercial Product Analyst at Liberty Mutual Insurance for a few months in 2014 and as a Talent Acquisition Analyst at Covidien for a few months in 2013, where they developed reports, analyzed data, and managed survey responses.

Joseph Vele completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Mathematics at Northeastern University. Joseph pursued further education at the same institution, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Data Science.
