Magnus Grandin

Magnus Grandin began their work experience as a Maintenance Technician at DynaMate Industrial Services AB in 2000. Magnus then had a summer internship as a Software Developer at Scania in 2008. From 2009 to 2014, they worked as a Doctoral Student at Uppsala University. In 2015, they joined ESI Group as a CEM Developer. Magnus then worked at Dirac Research from 2017 to 2020, starting as an Application Developer before becoming a DSP Software Manager and later a Software Architect and Senior Research Engineer. In 2020, they briefly worked at SoftRobot as a Senior Software Developer. Currently, Magnus is employed at Gradientech AB as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, starting in 2022.

Magnus Grandin attended Uppsala University from 2002 to 2003, where they completed a preparatory year in Science and Technology. Magnus then pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Engineering Physics at Uppsala University from 2003 to 2009. During their studies, they participated in an exchange program at The University of Queensland in 2007. After completing their Bachelor's degree, Magnus Grandin continued their education at Uppsala University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Scientific Computing from 2009 to 2014.
