Janelle Jara

Janelle Jara has a diverse range of work experience in the hospitality industry. Janelle most recently served as the Director of Sales at Graduate Hotels from June 2023 until the present. Prior to that, they held multiple managerial positions at various companies, including David Rubenstein Forum, Benchmark, Pyramid Luxury & Lifestyle, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, The Gwen, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Chicago, St. Jane Hotel, Thompson Hotels- Two Roads Hospitality, and theWit Hotel Chicago - A DoubleTree By Hilton. Their roles during this time included Multi-Property Sales and Events Manager, Food and Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Director of Outlets, Banquet Manager, Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, Assistant Front Office Manager, and Restaurant Manager. Their work experience spans from 2012 to the present.

Janelle Jara began their education journey in 2010 at Les Roches, where they pursued a Swiss Hotel Association Diploma in Hospitality Management. This program lasted for one year. In 2009, they enrolled at Kendall College, where they spent three years earning their Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management. Returning to education in 2021, Janelle is currently attending iPEC Coaching, where they are working towards a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) degree specializing in Life Coaching. This program is expected to be completed in 2023.
