Katy Sue Wright began their career as a Retail Athlete at Nike. Katy quickly rose through the ranks and became a Student Ambassador Leader at Santa Clara University. There, they planned and executed events that garnered national attention.

In 2014, Katy Sue Wright joined Elastic as the Director of Events. During their tenure there, they oversaw the execution of all Elastic events, including the ElasticON program and major trade shows. Katy Sue Wright was responsible for building the event strategy, managing the budget, implementing the virtual event approach, and leading a distributed team to execute innovative programs. Under their leadership, the events team generated over $100 million in revenue last fiscal year.

In their current role as Director of Events at Grafana Labs, Katy Sue Wright is responsible for planning and executing all company events. Katy has a proven track record of success in event planning and execution, and is dedicated to delivering high-quality events that drive business results.
