Mike Johnson

Mike Johnson is currently a Senior Solutions Engineer at Grafana Labs. Prior to that, they were a Systems Engineer at Wavefront by VMware from March 2019 to July 2020. Before that, they were the Sales Engineering Manager, East and Central at SignalFx from October 2018 to February 2019.

Mike Johnson has over 10 years of experience in Sales Engineering. Mike started their career as a Sales Engineer at Coradiant (acquired by BMC) in April 2007 and then became the Director of Sales Engineering at ScienceLogic in October 2010. In this role, they were responsible for leading the sales engineering team and providing technical expertise to customers and prospects. Mike helped ScienceLogic grow from a small startup to a leading IT monitoring platform used by over 20,000 global customers.

In their current role at Grafana Labs, Mike is responsible for providing technical support and guidance to customers who are using Grafana to monitor their infrastructure and applications. Mike is an expert in both on-premises and cloud-based monitoring solutions and has a deep understanding of the Grafana product.

Mike Johnson attended The George Washington University School of Business, where they earned their MBA in Sales and Marketing. Mike also attended The George Washington University - School of Engineering and Applied Science, where they earned their BS in Computer Engineering.

They are on a team with Vijay Tolani - Senior Technical Marketing Manager, Cyril Amsellem - Lead Solutions Engineer, ANZ, and Matt Stewart - Senior Solutions Engineer. Mike Johnson reports to Dave Russell, VP, Solutions Engineering.
