Ruben Been

Ruben Been is a seasoned professional in the esports industry, currently serving as Project Manager for Esports at Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam and a member of the advisory board at Branchevereniging Esports Nederland. Since 2019, Ruben has also been an Esports Industry Expert and Lecturer at Breda University of Applied Sciences, contributing to the establishment of the first minor in Esports Event & Media Management. As the Founder and Owner of mCon esports and the esports club Breda Guardians, Ruben has built significant platforms within the Benelux region. Additionally, as CEO of B1-events, Ruben specializes in esports and gaming events. Previous roles include Project Coordinator for Heroes Dutch Comic Con and Event Manager for the Bonami Spelcomputer Museum and E-Sportbond. Ruben is pursuing a Master's in Business Administration, Imagineering at Breda University of Applied Sciences, having earned a Bachelor's in Leisure Management from the same institution.
