Brian Durst is an experienced educator with a focus on English and Communication Arts, currently serving as an English teacher and Department Chair at the School District of Grafton since August 2000. Brian has contributed to the teaching community through roles as a member of the Teaching & Learning Committee, Head Baseball Coach, New Teacher Mentor, and Professional Development Leader. Prior to this position, Brian taught secondary English at Westosha Central High School and Palmyra-Eagle High School, where responsibilities included coaching basketball and baseball, as well as advising the Key Club and student council. Brian holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
