Sandy Stonesifer has a comprehensive work experience background. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Graham Holdings since January 2021. Prior to this, Sandy founded and led SSquared Consulting, an organization development consulting firm specializing in leadership and talent development, strategic planning, team building, retreat design and facilitation, and process improvement. Sandy worked independently and in partnership with other consultants during their time at SSquared Consulting from January 2014 to August 2020. Sandy also served as a Faculty & Leadership Development Advisor at ProInspire, a mission-driven organization focused on developing leaders for organizations addressing global challenges, from an unspecified start date until January 2020. Furthermore, they served as a Board Member at Idealist.org from 2009 to 2020. Sandy has also worked as an Executive Director at USAID and as a Special Assistant to the President and CEO at ONE, and held various roles at Center for Global Development and UCSF in the past. Overall, Sandy Stonesifer has a diverse range of experiences in leadership, consulting, and strategic planning.

Sandy Stonesifer has a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) with Honors in Biomedical Ethics from Brown University. Additionally, they have a Master of Science (M.S.) with Distinction in Organization Development from American University. Sandy has also completed an Executive Program for Nonprofit Leaders at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. In terms of certifications, they are a Certified Facilitator in Creative Facilitation from Retreats That Work, an Appreciative Inquiry Certified Practitioner from Ralph Kelly & Jane Watkins at Appreciative Inquiry Unlimited, an EQ-i 2.0 Certified Practitioner from Multi-Health Systems Inc. (MHS), and an MBTI (Myers-Briggs) Certified Master Practitioner from the Center for Applications of Psychological Type, Inc.
