Rodney Morris has over 17 years of professional work experience in the technology industry. Rodney began their career at Accenture Technology Solutions as a Computer Programmer from December 2003 to September 2005. Rodney then joined New Vision Engineering Group as a Programming Analyst from September 2005 to September 2007. After that, Rodney worked at Leidos as a Senior Software Developer and Team Lead from September 2007 to September 2013. Currently, Rodney is employed at Graham Technologies as the CTO and Software Engineer since September 2013. In this role, they are responsible for driving tech vision, fostering partnerships, managing a 3-7 member Agile team, and serving as a stakeholder on a large-scale SAFe project.

Rodney Morris completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Coppin State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003. Rodney then pursued a Master of Science in Systems Engineering at The George Washington University from 2008 to 2011, specializing in Engineering and Applied Science.

In addition to their formal education, Rodney has obtained various certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. Rodney became a Certified Scrum Master in April 2014 through the Scrum Alliance. In July 2020, they achieved the AWS Certified Developer certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, in November 2016, Rodney earned the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification.

Rodney became a CMMI and Scampi Appraisal Member in October 2019, through Scampi. Rodney also received the Certified CMMI Associate certification from ISACA in December 2021. Most recently, in January 2022, they obtained the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
