Paschalis Pelitaris

Paschalis Pelitaris has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Paschalis started their career in 2013 as a member of the Academics Team at EESTEC LC Xanthi. From 2014 to 2017, they worked as a Research and Development Engineer at D.U.Th Robotics Team. In 2016, they joined the Hellenic Army as a Supply Technician and Computer Operator, where they upgraded existing resource management software and managed military equipment and supplies distribution.

In 2018, Paschalis became a Business Development Engineer at The AKKAdemy for a brief period before joining Akka Technologies as a Research Software Engineer. At Akka Technologies, they collaborated with research departments from different locations to develop an autonomous drone capable of executing tasks based on user interaction. Paschalis was responsible for computer vision tasks, dataset management, and graphical user interface development.

In 2019, Paschalis worked as an AI Engineer at Renault Group, specifically in the Autonomous Vehicle team. Their role involved integrating state-of-the-art vision systems and preparing datasets for AI training. Paschalis also trained and retrained AI algorithms, resulting in improved perception and navigation capabilities of the ADAS system.

From 2018 onwards, Paschalis has been an active member of the European AI Alliance. Currently, they are employed at GrAI Matter Labs as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer and AI Customer Solutions Architect, where they apply their expertise in AI to solve customer problems and support the development of AI technology.

Additionally, Paschalis co-founded Eco Energy in 2010 and served as a Co-Founder until 2016. This experience showcases their entrepreneurial spirit and involvement in the renewable energy sector.

Overall, Paschalis has a solid background in AI, robotics, business development, and project management, with a demonstrated ability to contribute to the development and implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

Paschalis Pelitaris completed their Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace (D.U.Th.) from 2008 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, Intro to Python for Data Science Course, Machine Learning from Stanford University, and Mobile Robotics. The certifications were earned from institutions such as Coursera and DataCamp, and were obtained between 2014 and 2018.
