Aaron Fraenkel

Aaron Fraenkel has extensive work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. Aaron is currently working as a Staff Machine Learning Scientist at GRAIL since 2022. Prior to this, they co-founded Amplisal in 2020 and served as the Chief Technology Officer. From 2018 to 2022, Aaron held the position of Assistant Professor (Teaching), Data Science at the University of California San Diego, where they were also the Chair of the Undergraduate Data Science Program from 2019 to 2021. During their tenure, they developed the 'Practical Data Science' curriculum and conducted research on graph modeling and fairness and algorithmic decision making.
