Pratyush Sahay is an Algorithm Scientist at Seeing Machines since September 2018, with prior experience at HARMAN India where roles included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, focusing on deep neural network-based pedestrian detection and intelligent vehicle demonstrations. Notably, Pratyush co-designed a ResNet-50 based CNN that significantly improved pedestrian detection performance under challenging illumination conditions. Academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Computer Vision and Image Processing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology.
