A seasoned global executive in Human Resources and Business Leadership, Marta brings over three decades of impactful experience spanning high-tech, R&D, biotechnology, and corporate environments. With a proven record of fostering talent, leading organizational transformation, and aligning people strategies with business goals, Marta is a trusted thought partner to C-suite leaders and executive teams.

Currently serving as a Senior Leader in Global People Business Partnerships at GRAIL, Marta plays a pivotal role in advancing the G&A and Software, Infrastructure, & Cybersecurity teams' focus on GRAIL's mission to detect cancer early through strategic talent management, workforce planning, and leadership development. Her expertise helps shape high-performing, values-driven teams in one of the most innovative and critical sectors in biotechnology.

Prior to GRAIL, Marta held executive HR leadership and individual contributor roles at Mozilla, where she guided global people strategies during organizational changes, transforming HR business partnerships into strategic optimization and cultural alignment. Earlier, she served as a Senior HR Business Partner at Oracle, supporting global product development and engineering business divisions - facilitating M&A, organizational growth, leadership development, workforce planning & talent management, and retention strategy initiatives.

Her career began with a distinguished 20-year tenure at Sandia National Laboratories, where she held progressively senior roles in HR, operations, finance, and program management. There, Marta was recognized multiple times with the Sandia President’s Quality Award for pioneering strategic initiatives in human resources, total rewards, organizational design, talent planning, and health services & occupational medicine. She is credited for leading the implementation of the first-ever accredited ambulatory healthcare certification for the occupational medicine clinic in Livermore, California and establishing the innovative Life Design Center - a holistic physical therapy and workplace wellness center. She also led the HR business unit and established the Livermore location’s HR business partnerships model.

Marta holds an MBA and a BS in Business Administration from California State University, East Bay, and is credentialed with certifications including SPHR, SHRM-SCP, Korn Ferry Global Competency Framework, Insights™ Discovery, and Harvard’s Cybersecurity Risk Management. A current member of the Athena Alliance, Marta remains engaged in executive development and advancing leadership for women and diverse communities in business and entrepreneurship.
